Antique silver framed Scottish agate brooch, set with an oval domed stone. The agate has dark colouring with fine pale banding, giving it a striped pattern across the surface. The silver frame has an ornate rope-style border around the stone and fastens with a C-clasp. A classic antique agate brooch with a simple oval shape and strong natural stone detail.
