Antique Victorian Chalcedony and Gold Tone Pinchbeck Hair Memento Brooch

Antique Victorian brooch with a large oval chalcedony panel set in a decorative pinchbeck frame. The frame has engraved detail, scalloped edges, and shell-like accents around the border. At the centre is a small glazed hair compartment, making this a Victorian memento or keepsake brooch.

There is a historical solder repair attempt to the edge, a chip to the glass on hair compartment, and a visible hair line crack to the chalcedony.
