Antique Victorian Grand Tour Lava Cameo Brooch in Silver Frame

Antique Victorian Grand Tour lava cameo brooch, carved from volcanic stone. The cameo shows a female profile in high relief, with detailed hair and floral decoration at the back of the head. The carving is set in a simple silver frame, allowing the raised portrait to remain the main focus. A collectible 19th-century cameo piece with a softer matte finish than shell cameo, typical of carved lava jewellery.
