Small Antique Victorian Carved Shell Cameo Gold Tone Pinchbeck Brooch

A petite Victorian cameo brooch, finely carved from shell to depict a classical female profile. The warm peach and cream tones of the shell are framed in a looping gilded pinchbeck mount, accented with smooth ball details at the compass points. Measuring 3cm by 2.5cm, it secures with an old-style pin and C-clasp typical of the period.
